Our History
Harvest Hills Funeral Home was recently known as Rutledge Funeral Home. In August 2011, Darryl and Linda Sterne purchased the business from Bill and Donna Rutledge upon Bill's retirement. Bill took over the business from his father, William Rutledge, who purchased the business from the original family owners. The funeral home was first known as Barrow Funeral Home when it was originally established in Hico.

Darryl Sterne and his wife Linda are the owners of Harvest Hills Funeral Home. Darryl is a third-generation funeral director and a graduate of the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service.
