Marvin Leroy Bell April 8, 1961 December 11, 2021 Everyone that knew him called him Marty, he didn’t like to go by Marvin although it was his birth name. And those that knew him well would even call him Party Hardy Marty, at least in his younger years. He was a rascal for sure. Marty was born in La Junta, Colorado on April 8, 1961, to Dan and Nadine Bell. He was the seventh child. The formative years of growing up happened in Hico, Texas, where the family arrived when Marty was 8 years old. Later in life Marty followed in his father’s footsteps and had a career in the construction industry. He found a talent in several aspects of the construction trade. After living in Honolulu, Hawaii for about 15 years Marty returned to Hico a few years ago and spent time doing construction work. Marty was preceded in death by his father, Dan Bell and a sister Debra Singleton. He is survived by his mother Nadine, sisters Donna Leary, Sherry Wakefield and Lisa Donley and brothers Dan, Wendell and Jimmy Bell.
